You tin can change the primary email associated with the account, But you cannot transfer data or sell the account to someone else. That's confronting the Xbox code of conduct

Hullo there,
If I remember correctly it is quite tricky just it should work.
Log-in to that Microsoft account where you want to modify your email.
Add another mail service address (microsoft account) as a way to sign-in.
Brand that mail primary.
Remove your old email.

I'yard not sure about the games and purchases, but if you lot share everything using your Xbox Home that will be fine.

I'll add a niggling alert, you lot risk losing your Microsoft account if the current primary email address is ane created via a Microsoft service similar @live.com @hotmail.com outlook etc past changing emails.

Unfortunately this is non possible and since your email is a Microsoft e-mail (Live, Hotmail or Outlook) you can't switch the email to another one and have the account non exist connected to that electronic mail anymore, technically.
You tin switch the login emails around just you Tin'T switch TO a Microsoft email when you do this (Live, Hotmail or Outlook). Yous can switch to another email provider simply you can't switch between Microsoft emails as they're permanently connected to that business relationship they were created on. For instance, you lot tin can't switch this account's e-mail login to another Microsoft account because that electronic mail is attached to a Microsoft account already.
The only solution is to get-go over and have him create a new account and take the account that owns all the games to exist ready as the my home xbox account on the xbox ane so that the new account tin can play all the games that account owns BUT the saves and any progress volition not move over and some DLC volition not share, also.

Thank you for bringing this question to the forums. Every bit previously stated by the Ambassadors, at that place is not a mode to merge accounts, or transfer the information from one profile to another (for further information refer to the support article Microsoft Business relationship on the Xbox panel FAQ). The most you tin can do is try to change the email alias that is used for log in to the account, but do be aware that you may lose your Hotmail account should you lot exercise and so. Bear in mind that the e-mail used for log in is solely an alias and you tin can leave information technology equally such, since yous can as well add together in other emails for notification and security purposes to the account should you wish to do so.

I added an email alias equally described here: https://back up.xbox.com/en-US/my-account/microsoft-business relationship/change-electronic mail-sign-in-for-microsoft-account - but it doesn't really help, since the account name and passwords are still mine.
I was hoping I could do this since it was within the family - non like I am transferring game purchases to a third party, but empathise the electric current constraints.

Howdy there,
To be honest all you lot need to practise in this example is change the primary e-mail service on the account from yours to his. Unfortunately there is no style to business relationship transfer purchases.
